Reflections - Program Assistant
Susanne is a Marin County born Sonoma State graduate with over 15 years of recovery and involvement in the Twelve Step community. She brings her experience of working in the field of addiction treatment as Operations Manager for ROC Recovery services as well as a Personal Recovery Assistant/ Sober Companion to her role as Program Assistant to Living at Reflections. Susanne utilizes myriad recovery resources including; mindfulness, art expression, and self-care.
She has a deep understanding of the healing power of the Twelve Steps model for gaining sobriety. Her strength-based role modeling, positive and affirming perspective, continuous encouragement and genuine love of those suffering, inspires and motivates others. In her own words, “I use creativity for self-discovery. I reference my personal experience and understanding of the Twelve Steps in order to help others. I have a strong spiritual connection and regular practice. I had a complete life transformation, which left me passionate about helping others. By overcoming obstacles including addiction, loss, and grief, I have experienced the power of healing, and I am committed to sharing hope and my belief that change is possible for anyone willing.” Currently attending school to receive CADC.
