Lana Kipnis is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience working in residential and PHP addiction treatment settings throughout Northern California. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, she practiced as a psychotherapist specializing in psychodynamic, experiential, and trauma-informed therapy. She later pursued PMHNP training to provide a more integrated approach to mental health treatment. Currently, she works with individuals navigating addiction, trauma, and co-occurring psychiatric conditions, integrating thorough psychiatric evaluation and thoughtful medication management while emphasizing compassionate, individualized care that helps patients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their recovery process. She earned her MSW from New York University and later completed her PMHNP training at University of California, San Francisco.
