Dr Weiss is a licensed Clinical Neuropsychologist with over two decades of experience specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessment. While all neuropsychologists are licensed clinical psychologists, Dr Weiss completed two additional years of graduate training and two years of post-doctoral internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center (now affiliated with UCSF), solidifying expertise in the field of neuropsychology.
Since becoming licensed in 2002, Dr Weiss has completed more than 4,500 assessments across diverse domains, including:
- Neurological and psychological evaluation
- Memory testing
- Substance use and co-occurring conditions
- Concussion assessment
- Educational and learning evaluations
In addition to private practice, Dr Weiss has been a member of the medical staff at St. Mary’s/UCSF Medical Center since 1995, serving on the Adolescent Inpatient Neuropsychiatric Unit (McAuley’s), where compassion and clinical precision meet to support youth and families.
A skilled communicator, Dr Weiss is fluent in English, French, and Spanish, and also speaks Hindi and Urdu, enabling assessments and care to be provided in both Spanish and English. Having lived extensively across South Asia and the Middle East, Dr Weiss brings a culturally informed perspective to clinical practice.
Beyond psychology, Dr Weiss is also a professional violinist, balancing clinical expertise with artistic expression.
