Mike Phillips, RASi
Reflections - Program Manager
Mike brings an array of talents to the Reflections Team among his long-term recovery. Most recently Mike has worked alongside a psychologist assisting at a local treatment facility for four years. He has aided families open healthy lines of communication and educated them on addiction as a “family disease.” Through his passion for recovery, and being a family man himself, Mike was and continues to be a very influential piece of past clients recovery and family well-being.
Mike has worked for decades as a general contractor, and has also studied martial arts, advancing to become a second degree black-belt in Shorei Ryu Karate. Through his experience and teachings of martial arts, Mike is well versed in the awareness of mind, body, and spirit, and seamlessly incorporates it into his knowledge of recovery. Being an avid fisher, golfer, surfer, and general outdoorsmen, Mike is very in-tune with the environment and brings the healing of nature into his recovery.
Mike is able to share this co-existence with the outdoors, as it pertains to recovery, with his clients and is able to draw them away from their seclusion of cities and office walls to teach them the value of the simple things in life.
